Netherlands is a signatory to the “Hague Apostille Convention of 5th October 1961”.

Therefore, if you want to use your UK document in Netherlands, you ONLY need an apostille.

You do not need to have a separate legalisation certificate by the Netherlandsn consulate or embassy.

Need solicitor certification?

 

If your document does not contain the signature, stamp or seal of a UK public official, it needs to be certified by a UK solicitor before being apostilled. We can provide this solicitor certification service for you at a competitive price.

*Please note that solicitor certification is NOT a witness service. If you have a document, such as Power of Attorney which requests to wintness your signature, then you should visit your local solicitor or notary public office to arrange it before sending the document to us for apostille.

Documents DO NOT need solicitor certification:

Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, Certificate of No Impediment, Death Certificate, Civil Partnership Certificate, NPCC/ACRO certificate, Documents with wet stamp from court, and etc.

Documents need solicitor certification:

Degree certificate, Transcripts, Qualification certificate, TEFL certificate, DBS certificate, Disclosure, HMRC document, Bank statement, Passport, Deed Poll, Electronic document, Certificate of Incorporation, and etc.
